Training

Works with instructors and members towards developing and maintaining training standards and other materials. This person will preferably be an experienced, respected instructor who works well with people. The officers will approve any major change to the training standards but the recommendation of the training committee will weigh the heaviest as they have the most experience.

Safety

Develops programs, materials and policies which will enhance the safety of the sport. He reviews any training, testing, competition and other tasks and offers input regarding their implementation safety. Publishes articles, whenever possible, pertaining to safe operating practices.

Records

Handles PPG records, policies, and anything else having to do with their maintenance by the USPPA. This is currently under development.

Editors

The Editor in Chief is responsible for all aspects of putting together the organization's publication. Assistant editors will help this person in any way requested.

Membership

Handles updating the membership list, pictures and assigning member numbers. Corresponds with members regarding their membership status.

Webmaster

General maintenance of the web-site. Administers access in a way so as to allow other committee members some freedom to update "their" areas. This will also minimize the work of the webmaster. Any major changes to the static content must be approved by the officers...the idea here to prevent policy changes taking place that would be disadvantageous to the organization.

Public Affairs

Works with flight schools and other organizations to educate and communicate others about USPPA. Also works in other capacities that deal with the News Media and Public and maintain the list of approved schools. An approved school must have a USPPA certified instructor on staff more than part time.
