PPG Weather Predictor By Jeremy Vight, updated March 13, 2008

2008-03-13 Jeremy has updated his weather predictor and is now hosting it himself at http://ppgwp.phr00t.com. His version will be the latest and is what we recommend using.

The application creates a "score" (of 0-100) for each day's morning and evening. This score is calculated on many different weather conditions. The color for each day's morning and evening will also represent that time's flying conditions.

You can click on the day for a more detailed forecast for that given day and time. Wind gusting information is usually not available for more than 3 days into the future.

You can provide PPGWP with an ideal wind direction, maximum wind speed and minimum temperature. By default, the directions include all wind directions. Wind direction is given in degrees: 0/360 is north, 270 is west, 180 is south, and 90 is east.

The .NET downloadable has been discontinued.

USPPA has tested the software and found that it worked as advertised but cannot offer support. If you have questions, please email Jeremy Vight at phr00t@gmail.com.

We thank developer and PPG enthusiast, Jeremy Vight, for sharing his work with the PPG community. Enjoy!

It doesn't matter what this  program or any other weather forecast says: if it looks bad or just doesn't feel 'right,' don't go!
