Thrall Lake Airport (7MI3) in Vicksburg, MI is a beautiful private grass strip airport. It also just happens to be home to a facility that can restore and produce entire Ford TriMotor aircraft from scratch. Who knew we had such a gem of iconic aviation right here in our own community?!”
On top of being a great excuse for a bunch of friends to gather and enjoy cool aviation things, our goal is to give back to the community.
Community Day on Saturday is geared toward showcasing awesome aviation activities to our local community here in Vicksburg; everything from paramotors, small fixed wing aircraft, and Ford TriMotors will be on display to get people excited about being a part of some form of aviation.
Proceeds from the whole event will go to benefit some awesome organizations.
Paramotor pilots interested in attending should pre-register to reserve camping and streamline the check-in process.
The paramotor fly in will be held Thursday – Sunday morning. Paramotor pilots will enjoy on site camping, flying from this awesome private grass airstrip, and other special events coordinated specifically for paramotor pilot attendees. Registered paramotor pilots will also have access to all of the festivities on Community Day and are encouraged to bring their families and friends to join in the fun.
Saturday during the event will be Community Day where we invite the public out to observe, learn about, and enjoy various aspects of aviation.
All proceeds from the event will go to support some worthy charities. We are proud that the 2024 event charity beneficiaries were military in theme and included the local Vicksburg VFW chapter and Resurgence PPG.
