Central Indiana Paramotor Fly-in

Arrival to Boone County Airport can begin on Thursday August 18th at 3:00 pm Eastern time. Registration is $60 this year per pilot to be paid in cash, venmo, or paypal when you arrive. When you do arrive please check in as directed by signs. If you are camping you’ll be directed to the tent or RV area. There is water available where you first enter to fill your RV if needed.

General flight procedures – Every pilot must be briefed before operating at the field. There will be general briefing information on arrival and each day at 3:00 pm. We’ll have a discussion with everyone present before normal operating hours in the morning and the evening.

Planned events – We have a pancake breakfast Saturday morning for donations and BBQ being catered in for all paid attendees and spectators on Saturday night ($13 for non-registered attendees). We’ll have an ability to have a bonfire and interact with the group each evening, and are working with local GA pilots and the local EAA chapter to have the opportunity to look at and potentially fly in various aircraft from the local area. We’ll continue to build out more details and activities as we get closer.

Thursday August 18^th

3:00 – Camping arrivals can begin.  Check-in at the registration area in the FBO office.   Hand off to someone to align RV’s and or tent camping spots.

6:00 – first pilot briefing for those that may want to operate Thursday night or Friday morning.

Friday August 19^th

Morning flights – open flying

3:00 – Pilot briefing for the day

Evening flying – open flying

9:30 pm – bonfire

Saturday August 20^st

6:30a.m. – Cross country flights based on wind direction as a group in addition to local flying.

8:30 – Breakfast open to the public for donation.

6:00 pm – BBQ for registered attendees, but also open to the public.  $13/meal for non-registered attendees, free for paid attendees.  Bring your own drinks.

6:30 pm – Spot landing competition and ball drop competition through the evening as well as any local flying

9:30 pm – Bonfire and music

Sunday August 21^st

Morning flights, mid-day departures and clean-up of the area.
