Light and variable conditions. Pilot had 19 PG flights and three PPG flights. Incident occurred on fourth PPG flight. Pilot ran down a short incline to assist in takeoff. At lift-off, the climb rate was greater than the slope of the hill, but still negative relative to horizontal. The pilot landed at full speed on the flat at the bottom of the hill and was pulled off his feet. Right shoulder was squeezed between the motor and the ground. Result: dislocated shoulder and broken prop. Outpatient treatment and 4 weeks of sympathy ensued. All is well.
