This accident was reported to us from two english-speaking witnesses in Japan, one with some aviation background. A pilot had been reported to be “hot dogging” on the beach and was making his 4th takeoff when he hit a woman bystander. She was struck by the prop in the face and subsequently admitted to a hospital with a significant injury.
