The pilot was doing a forward launch into a 2 knot wind on the beach. He was just getting airborne when he reached the waters edge. His prop touched the water and it was all over. He went down less than 50 feet from the beach but it was a little too deep to stand. His rig sank slowly and he was able to get out of the harness before the guys on the beach reached him. No injury.
