Incident Details

January 29, 2007 Location of the incident: , Type of Incident:

Pilot was flying with a friend and using someone else’s very small wing. He was trying to fly slowly when he flew through the another PPG’s wake and entered parachutal stall. He described it as falling out the sky but with his wing fully inflated overhead. He stayed on full power for the short downward trip to the ground and landed mostly on his feet but fell from a leaned-back position at full power. That destroyed the prop, netting and parts of the cage but the pilot was essentially uninjured.
