Incident Details
February 13, 2007 Location of the incident: , Type of Incident:
The pilot set up for launch toward the south. The wind switched, making him have to set up more southeast which was towards a large building and nearby trees. He probably figured it would be easy to turn before getting to the trees. He launched and, before he could turn, was upon the trees. He first clipped a windsock, tried to fly between some trees and clipped a wingtip. That spiraled him to the ground. Obvservers say they were amazed that he wasn’t hurt since the fall was from over 15 feet.
