Incident Details

June 27, 2007 Location of the incident: , Type of Incident:

I was watching a fellow pilot land in a large field. Pilot had been flying for about an hour before I showed up. Pilot came in for approach into the wind, and started brake input too soon. Flare was slow, to try and have full brake on arrival, but wing began to stall 8-10 feet in the air, causing for a hard arrival. Pilot was OK and walked machine back to truck. The frame that holds the gas tank was damaged and requires welding and repairs. No damage was done to the cage or motor.
