Incident Details

August 5, 2007 Location of the incident: , Type of Incident:

New pilot was launching on the beach when a “pretty mean” gust of wind caused him to fall onto his back and, following natural instinct, he put his hands back to cushion the fall. His left hand went through the netting and into the prop, catching the prop tip. By his own account he was extremely lucky that no tendons were severed in this bloody occurence.
