Zero wind. Set up for a power assisted forward (PAF). Applied 1/4 to 1/3 power to generate wind for launch. Reduced power to idle. Began inflation, got pulled back, applied full power. Hands got pulled into reinforced rigid cage/netting, prop contacted left middle finger only. Middle knuckle unrepairable. Middle proximal phalange broken in several places. Percent of finger disability expected to be 40-60%.
