Incident Details

September 24, 2007 Location of the incident: , Type of Incident:

The pilot reported that he was doing low level maneuvers and reacted improperly after the engine quit. Apparently a wire or plug came loose from the ignition system. He was doing a 180 degree turn and, when the engine quit, had limited options of landing places. The options being trees, campers, a porta potty or corn if he could go between the trees. He was applying left brake and explained that he may have stalled the wing. It happened so fast that he didn’t remember the details but he hit hard enough to do significant damage to the machine and be sore for at least several weeks. Specific injuries were not reported.
