According to a video and comments, the pilot was launching when he lost his balance and fell. The prop flexed into the gas tank which spewed fuel as the prop broke. There was no fire. Prop chards traveled over 40 feet. The manufacturer is said to offer a mod the reduces the chance of this happening and new machines come with the mod.
