Incident Details

April 18, 2008 Location of the incident: , Type of Incident:

Light winds, but gusty from upwind trees, hill. Forward inflation, right after chute overhead, wind gust must have died, chute and lines went slack and I was not quick enough to get moving. An A line got in the prop, yanked the line out of the chute and destroyed the prop. Line never broke. No injuries and no one around, however if others were in line with the prop disc, they could have been hit by debris. Bought new wing and prop. Wing was old anyway. Lesson: NO GUSTY CONDITIONS and GET MOVING FAST!
