Muffler pop rivet sheared off while in flight, which then allowed muffler exhaust to rotate in 360°. Once the muffler was free to rotate it then melt and caught fire to harness. It was like someone touched me with a match and I smelled something burning and landed ASAP. Once on the ground I notice the damage to the harness and the muffler. I fixed this problem by inserting three more pop rivets into muffler housing.
