Incident Details

September 20, 2008 Location of the incident: , Type of Incident:

Winds were stable at the beach (coming from east), although a black cloud in the sky. Occasional gusting (not very strong). After 30 spending with another pilot, we decided to take-off. During my take-off (according to my friend and my wife, I had a hard take-off due to gusting ), around 15 feet high, I felt a strong wind coming from the south, which made my glider collapse. I just had time to turn the engine off and fall in the sand. No injures besides a broken propeller and cage strings.
