Incident Details
June 20, 2009 Location of the incident: , Type of Incident:
I took off from a short field and did not clear one of the trees. I had taken off successfully from the same field a dozen times before. I’m not sure what happened, but after takeoff, my trike began to drift to the left towards the treeline and I could not climb out above the treeline. Although the wing was above my head and centered, I can’t say for sure that it was fully inflated. I attribute this incident to pilot error caused by poor instruction from a certfied instructor.
