After warm up, winds were from the east light and varible but behind a row of trees about 100 yards from LZ. Started runup wing came up,went to full power and lifted off.Upon reaching 137 ft. the engine started sputtering. Thinking the spark plug cap had come off again ,I decided to do a 180 turn and return to the LZ. As a forward glide down would put me into the trees. As I made the turn I realized the wind had hit me as I had cleared the row of trees. I felt a jolt, I looked up at the wing, the right side of the wing had folded under about 50% was under. I let up on the brakes as I felt myself dropping hoping for a recovery as I dropped nearly straight down.
