Pilot was struggling with motor inflations and had been instructed by his instructor not to launch, but to wait until the instructor returned from a flight. The student elected to launch anyway. After inflation, he wound up falling face down. After falling, he inadvertantly throttled up then reached up and got his finger in the prop. Two fingers were severed and could not be reattached.
