It was my first flight in about a year. Conditions were great for an easy, light wind launch. Fifteen minutes into the flight I heard the dreaded sound of my prop exploding. I had repaired it several times and I guess it was just time to give out. I killed power and flew to a very inconvenient, but wide open field for an easy landing and a long walk home, through a river, down cliffs, etc. Lesson: Take your cell phone when you fly!!
