Incident Details
July 24, 2013 Location of the incident: , Type of Incident:
Inspection, layout and run up indicated no problems. Inflation and launch was normal until roughly 50 feet above ground and noticed I began to loose rpm’s and of course altitude.
My flight path was taking me over a fence line full of trees. I was lucky enough to clear most, straddling some and eventually sideswiping two cedar trees just before landing sideways.
The only damage received was to my cage when landing. Now it has a limp—doesn’t stand on both feet–but nothing to hamper flight and chiggers. Got really lucky.
