Type of Incident:
Upon takeoff and after gaining altitude at about 200′ I go to slide in my seat and I hear chomp chomp and realize ( no throttle now ) that the prop has eaten the throttle cable. The sheathing on the cable now looks like a tangled piece of barbed wire although it did not sever. Like wise the kill wires were not severed. The actual throttle cable was severed. I immediately made a sharp U turn back to the landing zone and landed. The Air Conception Ultra has netting that covers the cage down to about 4:30 and 7:30 and from 5:30 to 6:30 is the frame and gas tank area. The areas in question are from 4:30 to 5:30 and from 6:30 to 7:30. They are quite large and have been corrected to avoid this issue AGAIN !!!
