Avoid powerlines at the last minute. banked hard left and not enough altitude or speed to make the turn. Separated spine from pelvis and broken pelvis in six areas upon a violent impact. Also compound break to calcaneus (heal bone). I have permanent and temporary rods/screws holding me together but i am lucky and expect a near full recovery. It has been a painful ride but i hope to be flying again by the end of the year. This was my 133rd flight, pilot error No excuses..
