Equipment
I taught myself to kite, using the Master Powered Paragliding DVD Series, then sought instruction when I felt I was ready for my first flight. The most remote place I have flown is Halls Crossing, Utah (on Lake Powell) and my most difficult launches include a Nil Wind, Uphill, Forward at > 7000ft MSL (at the Capulin Volcano) and another down a road, with ditches on either side, in a 45 degree Cross Wind (at Black Mesa, Ok). The highlights of my FreeFlight experience include soaring El Penon in Valle De Bravo, Mexico and my XC PB of 85km from Panorama Vista, near Talihina, Ok.
