Learning styles
Students have different learning styles. VARK is an acronym that makes remembering the most common learning styles easy.
An effective instructor will provide tools and resources to ensure students can learn according to their preferred learning style.
Examples of resources for each learning style:
- Visual – Videos, real-life demonstrations, pictures, etc.
- Auditory – podcasts, lectures, group discussions, etc.
- Read and Write – PPG Bible, websites, blogs, printouts, etc.
- Kinesthetic – tandem flights, kiting, workshops, courses, hands-on training, etc.
